The Guest Who Fills the Wilderness / Oaspetele Care umple pustia

What’s a place you visited that felt like home?

No address. I have only felt at home when the heart made room for Christ — the Guest who, once received, does not leave. On earth we are travelers and strangers (Heb 11:13), and the city that endures is not to be found here (Heb 13:14). The prodigal son did not return to a house, but to his father’s face (Luke 15:20) — and only there did he understand what „home” means. Perhaps that is why this place is called the Wilderness of the Heart: not because it lies desolate, but because, emptied of self, it can receive Christ, the One who fills every wilderness.
