Telefonul și pustia luată cu japca / The app, and the wilderness it’s covering

What app eats up most of your screen time — and do you even feel bad about it?

The app, and the wilderness it’s covering

It isn’t any one app — it’s my finger moving toward the screen before my will even speaks. That’s how a passion works: it doesn’t ask, it settles into habit. Yes, I feel the guilt, like an ache of conscience not yet gone silent. The real fight isn’t with the app, but with the emptiness in the heart it’s filling — an emptiness that asks for either prayer or noise. Too often, I hand it noise.
