What is your favorite quote?
“Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) — this is my favorite quote, because it is not merely a beautiful saying, but a commandment given by God Himself through the Apostle Paul. It does not say “pray often” or “pray much,” but unceasingly — meaning prayer should not be a moment of the day, but the very breath of the soul. For me, this word has been fulfilled through the prayer of the heart: the calling upon the Name of Jesus repeated in mind and heart, until it is no longer something you do, but something you are. When His Name is spoken unceasingly within, the greatest fear is no longer death, but separation from Him through sin.

„Rugați-vă neîncetat” (1 Tesaloniceni 5:17) — acesta e citatul meu preferat, pentru că nu e doar o vorbă frumoasă, ci o poruncă a lui Dumnezeu însuși, dată prin Apostolul Pavel. Nu spune „rugați-vă des” sau „rugați-vă mult”, ci neîncetat — adică rugăciunea nu trebuie să fie un moment din zi, ci însăși respirația sufletului. Pentru mine, acest cuvânt s-a împlinit prin rugăciunea inimii: chemarea Numelui lui Iisus repetată în minte și în inimă, până ce nu mai e ceva ce faci, ci ceva ce ești. Când numele Lui e rostit neîncetat înăuntru, frica cea mai mare nu mai e moartea, ci despărțirea de El prin păcat.
