Every day God gives you is a new invitation to repentance, to love, and to share in His life.
People easily grow accustomed to God’s gifts and begin to regard them as something they deserve. They forget that the rising of the sun, every breath, the bread upon the table, the people they meet, and even the ability to utter a prayer are gifts that cannot be claimed as a right. Everything is mercy, and life itself is the first gift.
Do not let the day pass without purpose. God has not given it to you merely to fill with worries and endless activity, but to seek Him in all things. A single act of kindness, a comforting word, a prayer offered with attention, or a temptation endured with humility—these are the seeds of eternity sown in the soil of today.
Live neither under the burden of yesterday nor in anxiety about tomorrow. The past rests in God’s mercy, and the future in His providence. What has been entrusted to you is the present moment. In it you can love, repent, and answer Christ’s call with your whole heart.
Receive every morning as a new beginning and every evening as an act of entrusting yourself into the Lord’s hands. The one who lives in this way discovers that life is not made up of ordinary days, but of unceasing encounters with God.
“This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)
